What are all these people doing with their own kitchen appliances, utensiles, and their own food to cook their own food? Such inefficiencies. We just need them to. Line up and get these cattle… I mean wonderful humans, their feed, I mean their meal.

If you ever needed proof that AI is just an excuse to buy up all the components in the world and force everyone to use “cloud” services for everything so we can rent the privilege of being monitored, censored, and rejected from society forever instead of having independent capabilities, YOU’VE FUCKING GOT IT

The tech billionaire argued that “from a global allocation perspective, actually, it’s quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer. And be used 5% of the time.” While OpenAI is allowed to buy up 40% of the global DRAM output, Altman believes the 32GB of RAM sitting in your computer is tantamount to public greed.

“You want maximum utilisation in the cloud if you’re trying to deal with this very constrained environment,” the AI billionaire continued. “And somehow everyone’s, many people’s intuition is the opposite of that.”

This has to be satire. It’s like supervillain level of writing.

Also, I am pretty sure that all that RAM in graphics cards in storage and unpowered data centres is having a usage rate of 0%, which is, … looking at notes … less than 5%.

Oh, so RAM should be distributed evenly among all the people instead of few people hoarding it? I wonder what else we could distribute evenly.

It’s terrible there’s so many cacti in the world that aren’t currently in Sam Altman’s colon.

May Altman’s fingernails turn sharp as razor blades and his shriveled sister-raping scrotum develop an incurable itch.

The careful crafting of gruesome maledictions is a grossly underappreciated art during a time when they’ve never been more justified or pertinent.

I suggest coming up with some creative ones of your own too. Sure, it doesn’t actually solve any of our problems, but at least it’s cathartic.

May his hair grow inwards, and his haemorrhoids grow as large as apples.

May he fall face first into a gympie-gympie bush and choke on one of its branches.

May his digestive system reverse direction and develop acid reflux and Crohn’s disease at the same time.

May every single orifice in his body become infested with particularly large parasitic wasps.

And the worst one: may be develop empathy and common sense and realise what a plague he is on humanity.

I was going to make a creative comment about Sam Altmann but after reading everyone else’s comments I dont think there’s anything left to say.
