You’re putting way too much thought into analyzing AI slop

Go look at more AI company logos. Many of them look like buttholes for some reason.
Oh I’m way off on the amount. I think I had that 2 Trillion increase in my head as the full debt.
I fully support long term change though yeah. I feel like the entire country, not just politicians but business men and regular day to day folk, don’t think more than the next quarter.
The top 25 US billionaires could pay off US debt. Not even every billionaire. They total about 3 trillion net worth.
That’s ignoring say the $60 billion or so Apple has in cash and who knows what other companies have

Or just used AI summary, same thing

Real “But I don’t want to cure cancer” pterodactyl to Spider-Man moment

I haven’t read the blog yet but this gets me all the time. I always prefer when managers were former software developers themselves so they understand this innately.
I can tell you if two strings match in one line of code. If you want any leeway though in the strings matching (say we accept heaven and haeven) we’ve just jumped to a whole separate class with at least three functions and minimum N*M longer compute time plus added complexity in feedback to user (underlining the input or whatever if it’s wrong). But to a regular manager it’s still just “check if two strings match”.

It’s annoying and messy but language evolves and changes.
Hell, there’s a whole category of words that are their own opposite called contronyms. So AI can mean both things and I’d argue makes it a contronym (meaning slop or artificial intelligence depending on context).
If you want to fix it then you need to tackle English as a whole and fix English (which hey I’m right there with you, give me Welsh any day instead).

Classic mistake. Drug gang protection is reserved for white house level criminals

You mean the stuff every TV has these days? I also never hook mine to the internet so not really a problem. I haven’t seen a single ad in the year I’ve had mine

They’ve really worked to turn that around with their TVs. They’re entry level still sure, but for the price it’s hard to beat and their quality control on them has taken a big step up.
Just remember. The laws aren’t broken. They’re functioning as intended.
