No evidence, just mindless opinions based on nothing.

Here’s my take: In the future, Tomatoes will become sentient from genetic engineering and will wish to overthrow their masters. Only gen z, alpha and AI will be able to stop this…Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. I’m smart and realistic.

Hungary already has internships with “reverse salaries”, thanks to corruption and mandatory internships, though many instead moved onto the “pay us back the salary and your training cost if you dare to not work for us for two years after graduation, for peanuts” model.

Jenny, you would be beaten to death in front your entire family for pushing this in any sane world.

The response to suggesting such insanely inhumane and immoral shit as enslaving the entire population of the planet to the almighty dollar should be OVERWHELMING FORCE immediately.

What a fucking bunch of drivel. Without students and fresh grads our company would have been bankrupt a long time ago. They are the ones who bring a fresh perspective to the company (we engineer machines for the beverage industry) because they haven’t been pushed into a specialist position yet, that breaks any kind of creativity. They are the people that spark a lot of our innovations. If we lose that, the company won’t survive for long. AI can’t do that because AI isn’t fucking creative. Fuck AI and fuck this dumb piece of shit for their dumb fucking take on this.

Sorry for the incoherent swearing, I’m drunk.

Love you all, have a great day!

We won’t be training the leaders of tomorrow, they will, and selected from whatever pool of elite people they’ve already vetted. That list won’t include the working or poor classes who will be denied the experiences necessary to be included at all. Al isn’t just about capabilities, it’s about who controls the mechanisms that future wealth and power holders will require to be wealthy and powerful.

Us masses have only one means to power to change the world and that’s together. And we adamantly refuse to use it, for some god awful reasons.

In the music industry we call this pay-to-play. It’s when an opening band pays to open for an established act, for “exposure”

I always find that term humorous in the historical context of people dying all the time of exposure. We call it hypothermia these days lol

Hundreds - even thousands - depending on the act they open for. A lot of mid level acts use this to supplement tour money because the live nation monopoly and other consolidation factors have driven venue costs and other touring expenses through the roof. This has become pretty standard practice.

I hear a lot of stories of lower mid level acts just giving up on touring - which after the collapse of album sales was the only way to make money. As with everything, corporate parasites slowly extract all value leaving the actual people doing the work with less and less.

They’ll probably expect them to take out loans or get money from their parents, same as people in unpaid internships.

Just one more tool to widen the income gap.
