It doesn’t look like it’s passed the house? https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/4795/text
The link on the page of the Roll Call just takes you to the link I provided, which states the bill has only been introduced and not passed.
There have been several actions such as including it with a group of other bills for consideration or sending it to committees.
I posted the roll call of votes. They voted, it passed. The progress bar is behind.
Now go read H. Res. 1499.
Yep, your right, I read the number wrong. The page is behind, the clerks page logged the votes today on the resolution. That’s definitely my bad.
Proud that my Rep, Melanie Stansbury is not on this list. I would have been shocked if she had been.
Upset that my rep, Auchincloss is. I knew he would be.
Really I’m more upset that he won by 50 points.
So the other day I asked what the Republican-lite supporters excuse for Democrats once again saving Republicans and then also voting to condemn socialism and now this.
So what’s the excuse du jour for supporting fascism? Literally voting to punish speech here, what’s the excuse?
I mean, don’t vote for them…
But not voting for anyone else with a D by their name because of these asshats, is just going to let these asshats take over the party.
Most Americans don’t get to vote in any election that has any of them on a ballot.
Counterpoint, if we don’t vote for these D then we end up with an R in their district which is just worse in every way.
They do this to fracture the Dem party. Keep your adversaries in disarray.
I’m guessing it’s not about fascist ideology, and more about those AIPAC paid vacations they’ve already packed their luggage for. Doesn’t change that they are a piece of shit, only if they have corn or peanuts.
Okay - I just made myself gag.
Brings to mind that saying about sitting for dinner with 9 Nazis right?
So people who refused to get up and leave (vote) when the Nazis barged in and took their seat at the table are just as culpable then.
Good to know.
Ah, I see you choose to be obtuse and dense as a fruit cake.
You mean the people who refused to get up and leave and then voted for fascism are just as culpable? Yes.
You mean a leadership that will do fuck all to punish these Republican-lite assholes for literally voting for Nazi policies are just as culpable. Yes.
The other members who left the table and voted no on this issue. No. For now.
I mean, mine’s up there and in general most hate that but he’s still far better than a Republican in his spot.
Hopefully next time we have a primary challenger worth voting for because his challenger voted for trump. Yeah…
So I’ll put up with him for another two years because while his Israel bullshit sucks it’s the better of the two options in almost any other issue on the table.
And when does the whole “still better than nothing” stop being a viable option when you’re still marching toward fascism with no meaningful resistance from the supposed opposition?
Honestly it’s past time to stop voting for these Republican-lite, fascist enablers.
And, he knew you would vote that way. Good job!
Allowing yourself to be manipulated by a shithead in hopes of getting rid of them later is generally preferable to shooting yourself in the foot and ending up with an even bigger shithead
Easy, even the worst Democrat is still better than every Republican. Sure a little while ago 8 DNC out of 212 voted to condemn socialism, but do you know how many Republicans refused to condemn fascism in a November 2025 vote?
There it is! The desperate bullshit of the Republican-lite. It’s better to slowly get to the fascist state than quickly getting to the fascist state. It’s not about the voting for fascism, it’s about the journey. And look, there’s that whole weak-ass whataboutism I’ve come to know and love, the buttery males of the moderate democrat that MLK warned us about.
We’re not talking about the inconsequential bullshit, performative condemning socialism and who gives two fucks about Republicans, who are fascist, didn’t condemn fascism. Scorpions were scorping, oh noes! We’re talking about 33 god damn horrible Republican-lite assholes that literally voted for letting the government stifling free speech they don’t like, a hall mark of a fascist regime.
Absolutely pathetic.
who gives two fucks about Republicans, who are fascist, didn’t condemn fascism.
People such as Democrats and myself who oppose fascism, unlike you.
Top notch job opposing fascism by LITERALLY voting for fascism.
With those actions, you’ll surely ensure that fascism won’t take hold.
In November americans will have two options: Republicans, the unanimous party of Fascism who introduced and voted for this bill, or Democrats, who voted against it in a large majority.
P.S. the bill isn’t even listed as being passed on congress website: https://www.congress.gov/bill/119th-congress/house-bill/4795/text
And thanks for helping giving us that bullshit choice by voting for fascists enablers in the primaries. Thanks but I’ll vote for the Democrats who didn’t vote for diet fascism and continue to vote for actual Democrats and progressives in the next primary.
Assuming these chuckle fucks don’t vote to get rid of elections in there effort to be bipartisan by literally voting for fascism.
H. Res. 1499 passed but it’s not this bill, idiot.
It’s finalizing and consolidating various bills in preparation for consideration.

These are fucking traitors and they should be … and feathered like we used to do in the good old days. And then some
… and feathered
Ass and feathered? 🤔
Oh look, Cuellar is being a sack of shit, what a huge surprise.
Yeah, he’s shit but I mean, Texas. Not saying he gets a pass but, Texas.
He really is the Fetterman of the House.
Damn. Mine’s on the list (Panetta).
Hopefully he’s on many people’s … now…
This one is the east side and full of republicans. Not surprising, but disappointing for Kim Shrier: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Washington’s_8th_congressional_district
She has been voting along AIPAC’s lines for a while. Sadly she doesn’t seem to have any serious challengers to unseat her. She is deffo a DINO.
When The ballot box doesn’t work, the … box will
Hmm; my rep’s not on the list, but the one for a district adjacent to mine is.
Surprised resident shit bird Ed Case isn’t on that list.
Hell yeah Minnesota winning again.
