I think most of the people they attack are just normal people going to work and school. So, unfortunately, most people won’t be wearing these things

Not really. They’re water resistant. Like, they say not to dunk it in water, but also that it won’t shock the wearer if it gets wet.

Defensive measures are possible: It won’t work through thick clothing as well.

Chainmail will work (with a grounding element). Electricity conductive plastics (like mylar) or metals in the clothing that won’t be too torn can also work.

In general the goal is to make it so the path of least resistance to the ground is not through you.

At least that’s what I’d say off my experience using electricity to induce pain in people recreationally

Might be interesting to see what happens if they grab someone wearing conductive fabric. Give it a path of least resistance that doesn’t include the person being groped.

The goal of stun guns is to lock the victims muscles up so they can’t move. These gloves don’t appear to do that and according to the manual someone else can be holding the victim while they are being used. The primary purpose of these gloves seems to be to cause pain. From their manual:

CD3s function by over-stimulating the sense of touch within the Peripheral Nervous System which causes Neuro Peripheral Interference or NPI. CD3 technology delivers a pain stimulus strictly to the area of the epidermis contacted by the CD3

There are many practices that police and prisons routinely use in the US that are internationally recognized as torture

Also, the US just froze the assets of two ICC judges that worked on the case to create an arrest warrent for Israel’s Prime Minister.

The US is a rogue terrorist State that is profiting from Genocide and routinely commits crimes against humanity by torturing their citizens and non-citizens.

The manual specifically says not to use them for torture but you know it definitely will be.

It also says not to apply it for more than 12seconds or to the throat, groin or face but considering it takes 2 hands to (de)activate it I don’t see the piggies taking their hands off the victim to comply with that.

Just think hit many orioles healthcare that could cover instead. Or if that were put towards solving affordability issues. It’s almost like this administration has wildly different priorities.
