“Thank God for Mark”, said a political operative??

Zuckerberg has been a punchline at best and a villain at worst for decades now.

If you want people to hate and distrust something, make Mark Zuckerberg the public face of that thing.

I wish the hate was more widespread, I also work in the tech industry and there are plenty of people who i have to work with who have given themselves up completely to having Claude do everything for them. I have never been so frustrated not only trying to keep up but also fixing problems overlooked by LLMs and then absorbing LLM generated responses to pr reviews or to why something broke in production

Gosh, who would’ve thought people would hate having their water sources depleted and their electric bill go thru the roof! Who wouldn’t want a worthless data center into their neighborhood?

They’ll keep building them, but they’ll try to keep the stories from appearing. Reports of discontent will be stifled.

It’s the other way around - they’re talking about building a lot more data centers than they’re actually building, to convince investors that AI is actually going to make 10x the revenue in three years.

Where is that revenue going to come from? Which companies are looking to quadruple their IT budget? Where are all the consumers with a ton of disposable income? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
