I like that. But I’m not wrong. Compare any left wing comment section to a right wing one when a new event occurs and you’ll see it.

Just look at people here. It’s passive engagent. The right are actively engaged. Hell just look up content alone. Theirs is much more creative the left is more generic and what has it produced lately? The right have all kinds of IP? Not sure if that’s the right word but it’s all owned by the right like pepe and such. The left just isn’t producing they’re consuming. Deny it all you want. Argue because you’re on the left, never thought about it and jus want to react. But I’m right.

Dude you’re giving the right credit for BOTS.

That’s the engagement you’re talking about: right-wing bots driving the conversation toward the talking points the fascists want to use.

Brilliant, brosef. Fucking brilliant. Come back later and incorrectly mansplain some more shit to us. This is fun!!!

You can’t possibly believe that conservatives, who by definition have to believe lies like trickle down economics and how trans people are responsible for gas price hikes rather than a war in the middle east, are more informed than the left.

Absolutely I can. And I know it is. If you want information and you start going to left and right spaces I will guarantee the right wing space will be more informative in real time. The left catches up way after. But there is no insight from the left until the right wing spaces back the story.

Alright man I’ll bite. Please link me some of these con spaces that get to the truth of a breaking news story before the left.

It makes sense if you’re trying to explain why a MAGA would immediately believe something without evidence.

Yeah I think in the most charitable reading of Melvin’s comments he’s saying that cons are more broadly “aware” of issues in general because fox and the like broadcast a wide net of garbage they should be angry about, even if virtually everything they say about the issues are lies.

But the question is that if (eg) the name of some random congress critter is on the right’s radar that the left hasn’t really heard much about, and what they think they know is that she drinks baby blood in pizza basements fortnightly, what exactly do they “know” vs never having heard of her in the first place?

Yes, Fox News spins lies before the truth is known. The fact that you are proud of that says everything.
