Apple removed the illuminated logo from the MacBook Pro with its 2016 redesign, replacing it with a polished, non-illuminated version. Its return restores one of the laptop's most recognizable design features after a decade. We're glowing with excitement over the new MacBook Pro. You've gotta touch it to believe it.
They should make the logo its own display. Give the user the ability to change the color, or run a “screen saver” effect on it.
This! Back when the black MacBook first came out, I wanted to find a translucent sticker of the old rainbow logo to stick over the Apple. Would have gone hard on that black case. If this were a screen, that would be easy. Could even put the original Isaac Newton logo on there!
