Schumer’s silence is a perplexing choice in the eyes of many observers — given its close proximity to the midterm elections, the HSI raid on a lawmaker’s home could easily be cited as additional evidence that a Democratic-controlled Congress is necessary to place a check on such actions by the Trump administration.
At this point, by refusing to respond, Schumer is pointedly enabling the regime, and is thus effectively a part of it.
I was very frustrated that he didn’t get booted in 2022, but if he isn’t primaried in 2028, my opinion of New Yorkers is going to significantly lower.

The new Democratic Congress needs to investigate the MAGA comedy act of Schmuck & Jeffries. I predict we’ll find they were working together all along. They’ve been instrumental in the rise, and re-rise of MAGA, and they’ve done nothing to demonstrate that they deserve a third chance.
