If elections are allowed in 2026, the DNC may subject all of us to one last feeble attempt to move towards the center in the midterms, and if they win it’ll be a dead cat bounce (just because the GOP demonstrably SUCKS at governing, and Democratic candidates can just run on “we’re not those fucking idiots”). They’re obviously completely co-opted by corporations and rich people at this point, and that’s not getting rolled back, despite the fact that that fact is a huge part of why they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
