Jumping on that bandwagon.
It’s worth mentioning she took AIPAC money.
I hope she is t trying to run again. What a shit show. We need something new.
I really don’t know where to put my vote.
On one hand we have a filthy pedophile who is trying to remove term limits to make himself king… (Trump)
And on the other hand we have a filthy genocide supporter who supports the rape of Palestinian children (Kamala Harris)
And lastly we have some old white man who is too politically weak to win. (Bernie Sanders).
“Look everyone, I’m relevant!”
If anything her endorsement will hurt him.
I think the commentators griping about this are missing the larger message here. Harris is a career politician who represents a significantly powerful wing of the Democratic establishment. She wouldn’t have made the endorsement without their approval.
This is an olive branch to the progressive wing of the party, and it’s a sign that the Dem establishment is finally acknowledging that they’re in real trouble without embracing progressive politicians. It’s also a shot across the bow to AIPAC and Israel at large. This means that the neo-liberal wing of the party has finally realized that while they rake in tons of money from AIPAC, the GOP will always receive far, far more.
While it’s likely far too little and far too late, it does represent the first significant shift towards party unity since the last election. I’ll take the win - we need all we can get these days.
Well said, thanks for that little bit of measured realistic optimism I needed it today.
Also, if it went the other way, there would be gripes nonetheless: if she didn’t endorse you would have gotten “So much for vote blue no matter who” or something similar.
The outcome has been determined: El-Sayed the nominee of the Democratic party, and rather than than fracturing the party and giving the Republicans (and Trump) the win, they chose to get behind the (progressive) candidate that was elected in the primary, rather than pulling a Cuomo.
She trying to poison kiss him? She was a horrible attorney, she was a miserable candidate for prez, just go away. Milk that AIPAC money you can and live in your white community.
She’s trying to make it look like she should get credit when he wins, and that they’re the same.
She’s technically polling in the lead for 2028, but that’s just name recognition and no one else saying they may run yet
She’s already started the “well, if people want me to”.
The good news is, she doesn’t have a chance in hell at winning a primary and never has.
People hate her policies and she has zero charisma.
fucked part that the DNC has shown in the past, it doesnt matter who wins the primary, its who they want. Ask Mr. Sanders. I mean they had the Hillary stuff already printed out before the convention, I dont mean like they do for the superbowl I mean they had all the mailers and shit already rolling, they didnt care who won and said as much.
Buddy…
What you’re doing is like saying in 2029:
AOC is responsible for everything every prior president has done, she’s responsible for all of it.
The DNC is a dictatorship ran by a single chair accountable to no one.
Biden picked Jamie Harrison in 2021, and he fucked up so badly the ~420 voting members of the DNC pivoted in 2025 to Minnesota’s state chair who had a decade long track record of fair primaries resulting in progressives gains.
He hasnt endorsed anyone in a primary because the DNC shouldn’t be endorsing anyone in a primary. But endorsed Mamdani and El-Sayed immediately after the won their primaries.
He’s dump the billions neoliberals stole from state parties, which is why we keep gaining seats everywhere and progressives keep winning primaries
There is no logical reason to keep blaming the DNC for anything prior to February 2025.
But people keep fuckig doing it and never explaining why.
So please:
-
Why don’t you even know the basics of how our political party works when it’s this fucking important?
-
Why won’t you at least fucking ask a question so you can learn? Why just make uninformed claims over and over and over again?
How are they uninformed, they happened, YES it changed, but it hasent been put to a presidential test yet, so yeah you can say it wont, but there are NO RULES setforth to prevent that shit happening again, you know maybe like hey we will only putforward those the people vote for.
You can be mad, but yeah actions are great, but NOTHING PREVENTS IT, so historically this is the way they have acted. Its almost like they learned nothing from row v wade, they had how much time to make it law, and just were nah nothing will change. Well actions here would show hey we learned and will now not only stand on judgements but also put the rules forth to hold us to those metrics, not the whims of people. So stay mad, but nothing changed.
The three big failings of decades of shitty DNC:
-
Stealing money from state parties.
-
Influencing primaries
-
Refusing to support progressives in generals.
So far Martin has:
A. Dumped all the stolen money back to state parties.
B. Hasn’t influenced a single primary or endorsed anyone in one.
C. Supported every candidate in the general, but goes out of his way to say a presidential candidate like Mamdani, both in policy and charisma is our best shot in 2028.
If you absolutely have to wait to see how the generals go, cool.
But if that’s not enough for you to stop shitting in the current DNC in the meanwhile…
What was your problem with the last ones, and what do you think the DNC should do differently?
Are you just going to ignore my main point, they can change the rule, they learned that they cant just stand on well we will take them at their word. They have the power to make it REQUIRED to act with the peoples votes, and make the rules that need to be changed forced to be done in the open. My problem is they are just faces, none of them hold up what they say. Its all show and only go for corporate money. Make rules that require them to act on behalf of the people they represent, and hell I would love if they had to record all lobbyist meetings and also force accountability to all, even more so themselves. Structure flows downhill, if the people see they are accountable they will be much more in line to accept those kinda things in their lives.
Why are they all trading stocks? stop that shit. Open investigations, let us see what they find. Make rules to get rid of PACs instead of supporting that money. Quit shitting on candidates that are not centrist or soft right. (To be honest the whole party system sucks, but two isnt the way. But the money that shouldnt be there wont advertize those that lean left at all, and even then those people are left out in the cold) But the DNC isnt about being left its about being the ‘other’ party for so long they are going to have a hard time getting of that corporate money train.
They have the power to make it REQUIRED to act with the peoples votes, and make the rules that need to be changed forced to be done in the open.
They literally don’t…
Were talking about the DNC…
They run the presidential primary, and because prior corrupt DNCs accumulated a giant war chest they got the keys and gave it back to state parties…
(Edit: threatening to withhold that money is how prior corrupt DNCs controlled party members. You seem to think we should be corrupt but in the opposite direction. That is a stupid and uninformed plan. And literally can’t happen because the party already gave that money to the state parties with no strings. They can’t be corrupt and wield it as a club, because they got rid of the fucking club)
Why are they all trading stocks?
What?!
Literally what the fuck are you talking about?
Do you think “the DNC” is a shadow government made up of sitting congress members?
That’s not what it is, but it’s the only way your rambling make sense.
You just legitimately don’t know anything about how this works, and you refuse to ask questions
-
There is no logical reason to keep blaming the DNC for anything prior to February 2025.
Do you mean after February 2025?
No…
The DNC (right now, as it exists since February 2025) would be responsible for everything under it’s watch.
It would not be responsible for things that happened before the current chair assumed that position.
Ah right, thanks, I understand now.
-
She has a bunch of die hard libs who are still resentful behind her. Most people are clueless. This is a calculated action by the DNC.
She has a bunch of die hard libs
“Bunch”…
There’s a lot of money behind neoliberals, very little votes.
Which pretty much explains everything about neoliberalism.
That’s why in 2008 when “Hillary voters for McCain” and “PUMA” genuinely and demonstratably happened…
It just didn’t fucking matter.
It’s not just that we don’t need neoliberals driving the bus, we don’t need neoliberal voters. In fact, where they’re needed is back in the Republican party moderating them.
If we ignore the neoliberals, that’s what will happen to them. They’ll try to fill the post-MAGA void over there.
The current DNC chair won’t stop a progressive from winning, and then that progressive gets to name the next DNC chair. We have the ratchet now, we can keep electing more progressive presidents and then they name more progressive DNC chairs.
The only chance Harris and the neoliberals have, is if they can somehow convince the chair to resign, because absolutely no one can force him out of the party. That’s why so many people are demanding he resign right before midterms, they’re hoping since it worked on Planter it will work on Martin
She’s hoping he will do her an endorsement in return.

I feel the sentiment, but I’d rather have this than the inevitable “We asked Harris who she supported in Michigan and she didn’t say, Democrats are in Disarray!!1!” headline we would have gotten instead
Ewww
Progressives will gripe about anything. Don’t endorse their candidate - gripe. Do endorse their candidate - gripe.
That’s because people are very emotional. Though Politics is all about Money. Money keeps Winning over emotion all the time.
