It’s not just that we don’t need neoliberals driving the bus, we don’t need neoliberal voters. In fact, where they’re needed is back in the Republican party moderating them.
If we ignore the neoliberals, that’s what will happen to them. They’ll try to fill the post-MAGA void over there.
The current DNC chair won’t stop a progressive from winning, and then that progressive gets to name the next DNC chair. We have the ratchet now, we can keep electing more progressive presidents and then they name more progressive DNC chairs.
The only chance Harris and the neoliberals have, is if they can somehow convince the chair to resign, because absolutely no one can force him out of the party. That’s why so many people are demanding he resign right before midterms, they’re hoping since it worked on Planter it will work on Martin
