In a recent interview, conservative political operative Karl Rove said he’s voting for a Democrat in the upcoming midterms, breaking three decades of precedent exclusively supporting Republicans, and lamented the GOP’s embrace of far-right individuals.
“My party is being infiltrated by people like Bo French,” Rove said in an interview with The Texas Tribune. Weeks earlier, Rove described French, the Republican candidate for Texas Railroad Commissioner, as a “bigot,” after he posted several xenophobic social media posts taking aim at students of color celebrating a college football game. Earlier in September, the Tribune reported that Rove planned to vote for French’s rival, state Rep. Jon Rosenthal, D-Houston, in the race that will regulate the Texas oil and gas industry.

Rove’s whole shtick is turning everything one says and does into a performance of some kind, to misdirect one’s adversaries. I can’t tell you I know what his angle is, what his goal is, but I do feel that listening to him at all is a mistake. The only thing you know for sure is that he is trying to trick you right now.
So, sure, the GOP is where all the neo-Nazis are, today. But why is Rove bringing this up? Why bring it up now, as opposed to at any other moment in the last 10 years? That’s where the trick will be.
Honestly, this was all predicted. The retarded masses are FINALLY figuring out that Trump is even more retarded than they are, and Trump is now a toxic brand. Every republican that wants a future in politics are now distancing themselves from Trump, saying that Trump is bad but us old establishment republicans are the good guys actually! Just remember when you hear these politicans condemning Trump, there will always be multiple videos and tweets of them swallowing Trump’s load. JD Vance will once again condemn Trump when it’s politically convenient, mark my words.

MAGA is the predictable outcome of the GOP he created. This is HIS fault, among others. This is what HE wanted, wished for, and fought for. Now he’s whining because MAGA is losing badly, and a lot of MAGAs are going to be punished, and he’s afraid it’s going to reach back to him.
Rove spent decades using unethical campaign strategies, identity politics, dog whistles, and hateful propaganda to bolster the Republican party and win them power through fear and bigotry. Now he is surprised that the nazis want a piece of that. You made your bed and made it nice and comfortable for Nazis, Karl. Now lie in it.

They’ve had Nazis in the party since at least the 70s… Not just things like the Bush family connections to providing the Nazis oil barrels in WW2, but more directly when The Heritage Foundation hired Nazis and white supremacists for various things.

EDIT: Actually in 1999 a journalist wrote a book all about this, titled “Old Nazis, the New Right, and The Republican Party”… It’s definitely been known about for awhile.

He is a propagandist and unethical strategist that used fear and hate to win his party campaigns for decades. He may or may not actually be a bigot himself.
