I’m pretty convinced GDD was spawned from a content farm likely in India. Reddit pays for successful content now which just incentivized a bunch subs to orient towards rage bait content. GDD walks the line between open sexism and normal venting, mostly just to piss people off and bait engagement.

it still works on waterfox, and other forks. on mobile. i use sink it extensions, or yeoldreddit(and the old reddit switcher) the extension makes old reddit usable on mobile.

this has been happening for some time already. bans after saying a wrong word happen immediately within a few seconds
not evenposting, even “looking” at your browser wrong is enough. if the AI assumes your account is botting or something it will ban it.
many times when i started new accounts there they were immediately shadow banned without any notification
they seem to have laid off the pressure though as of late, they realized too late that thier bannings were reducing traffic to the site, thus AI-data mining content. although they did not decrease thier ability to detect methods of people using hundreds of accounts at once though, and seem to selectively choose which keywords to ban. also i notice switching between different browsers(forks) may trigger the same thing. my last account(that was 11years old was shadowbanned last year, i kept it alive because i was appealing for a couple months. recently deleted it, and made an acc a month ago, havnt seen a ban YET? corrobated by another user on lemmy, time will tell becaus ei accidentally did switch browsers. im guessing reddit scrutinized serial ban evaders, who also spams to drive people to thier own website or AI more heavily. reddit is intentional ignores propaganda bots though.
same IP/same device, i think they will still likely ban, but if changed up any of this, they wont notice right away(not all the case though). i only use the new acct for NICHE content i cant find here(none of the big SUB nonsense).
also time will tell when they fully deploy thier forced LOGINs(as not all browsers are affected by the popups,slowdowns),t hey are figuring how to get around the other browsers still able to force old reddit and the extensions.
I got hit by a word filter too. Each individual word was SFW but the combination could be interpreted as hateful (even though it wasn’t in context). So they have some sort of intent-matching system that is poorly implemented, probably piping it through the cheapest haiku model they can access.
