Any software that has backend needs is unfortunately going to have to find a way to pay for it.

Google controlling chrome controls what the vast majority of people use to see the internet, and then they change chrome to make it harder for you to block ads that they want to show.
There’s no reason for chrome to break ad blockers unless it’s owned by an ad company.
Edit: Google done some other shady things by owning it in the past as well.
Well, it had bipartisan senate support so I wouldn’t immediately jump to the conclusion that the senate would agree.

A lot of us walked/biked to our grade school as well. I can’t remember which grade I started walking, but I was definitely doing it in 4. I’d wager even grade 3 but can’t be 100% sure.
Ignoring transmission losses, which could be improved as well, the whole USA could be solar powered by a very tiny fraction of the deserts it has.
