Even if they are committing crimes you can’t unilaterally exact justice against them due to vigilante laws.
You can actually, self-defense to stop someone from committing a felony is legal in the US.

LOL and you know this how?
Because claude deleted his codebase dude, it’s like someone shooting themselves in the foot.

You’re not practicing actual skepticism, you’re just saying it’s probably bullshit while not knowing anything about it.

And neither can anthropic claude. Claude isn’t randomly deleting people’s websites, the kid gave anthropic bad instructions, it didn’t spontaneously decide anything. This is like an idiot pointing a gun at something he didn’t want destroyed and sneezing causing a trigger squeeze and then trying to blame the gun manufacturer.
And of course yes, I would love to see more activity on lemmy!
Eh, mastodon is more like a twitter/instagram type thing, and thlse are both way bigger than reddit. So it’s natural that mastodon will have a lot more activity than lemmy.
But reddit is completely owned by the corporate elite, turns out u/maxwellhill was ghislaine maxwell, like it’s pretty bad how much reddit is in bed with evil powerful people.
So for that reason I’ve stopped using it.
Look up the laws in nyc, stopping a felony is legal self defense, including homicide.
