Turns out my dad already figuted it all out. Global warming is all a government conspiracy, weather is controlled by HAARP as a cover up for the chemtrails which are poison meant to kill 13 out of every 14 people. This is somehow all for the Rothschild family.

He’s such a narcissist that I causes him pain to see other people win awards. He truly belives he is deserving of ALL of them.

Why now? Because he enjoys inflicting pain, he gets off on killing people. It ain’t hard.

As a parent who interacts with other parents, I can assure you some are.

Thing is, I don’t really care about the Kennedy center. I do care about this fucking asshole acting like he owns the entire city and can remodel it with his tacky aesthetic at will. Dude needs to be stopped, like now… This shit is fucking insane and I’m in shock every day that people have no desire to speak about any of this. I get it, but I also think that those that benefit the most from our society, have a larger butden than most when it comes to speaking up about these issues.

Ed Sheeran has enough money, and has enough resources that he could take a stand himself. I could give it more of a pass had it not been for the him saying Macklemore’s words were offensive to some. I’ve heard what he said and it’s very clear it’s a supportive and positive message.

It’s a tough situation without a doubt, and in any other times it would be not a big deal. But man, what a shit state the world is in where standing up against dead kids is an offensive message that could end a music tour.

It’s not aggression, it’s deep regret, sadness and desperation for some humanity in the world.

It’s personal preference. I grew up staring at green screens. I am at home pawing through config files, I like seeing things from the bottom up.

So, portainer was a nice easy button to ease my transition from VMs to containers, but just like VMWare, I started on the GUI, eventually moved to CLI.

Portainer was a great start into docker, but it’s so much easier and better to just use compose and cli. Lazydocker if you really want point and click.

I still have my old install running on my homebrew NAS, but all it’s doing is running plex and a Minecraft server. I need to rebuild, at which point it goes.

I’ll second bazzite. I have it on an old laptop as the family machine, so it’s kid approved. I don’t personally love it, but I have nothing bad to say about it, I’m just a greybeard who prefers my boring LMDE.

So, it’s one of my go-to suggestions for a good, daily drive-able step into Linux. I like that the immutability makes it easier to recover, for when they inevitably call me for tech support (haven’t had to rely on it much yet, but that’s the theory anyway).

I have literally never felt the impact of slower RAM speed and I’ve been building PC’s for 30+ years. In every case, adding more was a boost, even if it wasn’t “needed”. Memory timings make a tiny difference to FPS in a game, or might slightly slow down rendering by a tiny fraction, but the increased performance of reduced swapping and other improvements it brings will definitely help out.

Stick with 16.

We are not facing skynet, but the techbros, media and government all want us to think so.

They did not “escape”, they were able to find security holes in poorly protected environments that they had access to. They performed the same security tests against live sites online, which also had security flaws. They did not spread, or escape, nor are they hiding on servers anywhere like in the movies. They simply performed a remote exploit after using a local one to get internet access.

These things are dangerous, but as a weapon in people’s hands. They still have off buttons, we still have all the control. But the narrative makes it feel like an inevitability, we’ve all watched too much sci-fi and aren’t using critical thinking skills.
