      Sure, why not. Celebrities by definition have the attention of many people. I just don’t see the point of narrowing that down even further.

        Presumably she wanted to respect the fact that nonwhite celebrities might have causes closer to home that need their financial support. Or just that she can’t speak for them, so she’s staying in her lane. And calling out those whose extra privilege makes them extra blind.
