Crazy that it might actually happen. 3 years ago you would have been ridiculed for suggesting that Canada might join the EU in any capacity.
I mean, just because they’re using the term “member” doesn’t mean that it resembles actual membership.
It’s not membership. Single market access and joining all the programmes like Horizon etc. Canada has the same red lines as the UK on sovereignty and won’t join EEA/EFTA as it involves taking rules.
Rumours of freedom of movement for workers, but nothing certain.
