Do what you can to fight back. Trying to survive is how they want you kept busy. Stop buying consumerist things. Stop shopping at Walmart and target and Amazon. Join community groups. Vote. Attend rallies.

You personally may already do that bit most don’t. Union membership is down globally. Big tech is taking control and hasn’t had a useful product in a generation.

How do you propose we get a significant amount of people to do that? Hell, there’s a lot of places where Walmart might be the only choice, and if there is another choice it’s Dollar General, which is in some ways even worse than Walmart.

I can’t even really afford “consumerist things” (whatever that means, in my house we’re barely treading water with just the essentials at this point.

Something tells me the people who participated in the Civil Rights Movement weren’t exactly swimming in money either.

Yes, let’s riot under an administration that’s itching to call for nation wide marshal law.

You don’t live here, do you? If that’s the case, then I forgive your ignorance on the situation we’re in. Otherwise, what are you doing?

I don’t, in fact, live in America, but also the problem here is that your democracy has no future unless you do something. The time where this could be resolved without significant personal risk is long past. If you think the risk of regime retaliation is worse than the risk of living under MAGA for the next two decades, then sure, but know that those are the options you’re looking at here.

I don’t think you understand the likelihood of what you want resulting in our deaths. They’ve already killed numerous protesters. I live 1,100 Miles from DC. Hell, the closest real city is a hundred miles from me. I feel like you don’t understand the size and how spread out the country is. You seem to have this idea that we can just flip the do something switch and things magically happen.

You want to believe that you’re just better than us and that it can’t happen in your country, when it has likely already begun.

So you’re choosing option 2. In that case better look up how to avoid being disappeared by an authoritarian regime.

No, the opposite in fact. My country is already by an authoritarian regime, and it’s seriously not a fun experience.

                    So you’re choosing option 2.

It’s not an option if you don’t really have a choice.

My country is already by an authoritarian regime, and it’s seriously not a fun experience.

And what are you doing about that?
