These “protests” are almost all weekend parades. If the Civil Rights Movement was like this it would’ve ended up a footnote in history. You should look up what MLK and crew actually did to get where they ended up. And of course, the Civil Rights Movement did employ wasn’t as peaceful as the textbooks would have you believe. So I guess what I want to say is: Do what MLK did then you can say you tried.

The time where this could be resolved without significant personal risk is long past. If you think the risk of regime retaliation is worse than the risk of living under MAGA for the next two decades, then sure, but know that those are the options you’re looking at here.

Hell, the closest real city is a hundred miles from me. I feel like you don’t understand the size and how spread out the country is.
