I watched the video, he didn’t lunge he got closer and leaned in to yell. Nothing fast or dramatic, just rude.
If he tried to lunge he’d almost certainly fall. His speech is slurring more than the last time I listened to him and his movements are so very slow and calculated like he’s struggling to stay upright.

And yes, he did lunge at the end, it’s a series of movements throughout where he gets closer and closer, but the last is very forward and meant to intimidate. And the reporter didn’t even flinch as he’s such a non-threatening old fool standing on 4" lifts.

Not really arguing semantics. It’s not a lunge. My issue is with these overly sensational headlines. They make it easier to dismiss for those inclined to do so. Plus these sensational headlines basically pad Fox’s daily talking points.

You would be hard pressed to find any journalist he could physically beat up. One might be hard pressed to find even a congress person he could beat up, including all of those geriatrics. Like him versus mitch mcconnel, not even sure he could manage to smother him with a pillow at this point.

When is the last time we have had proof of life with mcconnel? They say they are letting him remote vote. If he can do that, he can say hey america on tv.
The Senate does NOT permit that for floor votes, and never has. Committees are a very different thing, but even then it’s proxy voting and not remote voting: iow, you have to actually be a senator on that committee and physically present to do it on behalf of your absent fellow senator.
Be very careful with “they say” statements; I am hearing so many now that are just blatantly false, and usually to the end of making people feel more powerless and helpless, like this one.
The rumor of McConnell participating in some kind of absentee voting in the Senate actually came up about a month ago in discussion if you’d like to read about it here – it was refreshing because both parties brought the receipts.
