    Make the counter argument. What if the US are competent and know what they are doing? Is that possible?

      That was actually true from ~80 years ago to ~50 years ago.

        ~80 years ago they handed their country to the MIC. What could the MIC have done better during the last 50 years?

          Well, if you say it was them, then they would better have done nothing at all, because doing nothing is usually better than destroying everything.

            They would have lost control over most part of the world. That could be better for most but for them it would be a loss.

            Letting China become almost independent and not finding an agreement with Russia are questionable decisions. But they must see war as a viable option so it doesn’t proof that the US are not competent.
