Trey Parker and Matt Stone are probably two of the most courageous and talented satirist the world truly needs right now.

Dude they’re known libertarians. They moderated over time like all semi-rational people when exposed to Trump, but they had early episodes depicting the people tearing down the rainforest as heroes.
South Park is satire, and they very often use irony. I feel very rude for pointing that out, but you’ve missed the point entirely if you genuinely do think their intention was to… Depict deforestation as heroic…
It actually was their intention. They did a similar number for very many other issues. They were consistent in their libertarianism, and they were basically the animated version of Penn and Teller’s Bullshit for a pretty good stretch in that era. Many of their episodes tackled the same issues in much the same way.
Penn Gillette was arguably more of a public mascot and mouthpiece for libertarianism, but both shows were heavily steeped in it.
Watch it again with open eyes. There are lots of examples.

I think there was even “South Park Republicans” floating around in the vernacular for a time (the reference is probably still on Wikipedia).
They have a super famous bit with the BP CEO acting like a giant dickhead apologizing for the massive oil spill when Obama was president. It’s some of the most on the nose satire of a corporate apology I’ve ever seen.

Have you any media literacy? Or are you basing this off of random clips and hearsay from friends. Because South Park has been well known for taking massive dumps on literally every demographic, and consistently standing by said dumps when people get pissy over being rightfully satirized.

Back when South Park was extremely relevant they and Penn and Teller’s show Bullshit were basically the mechanisms for poisoning everyone with libertarian ideology.

They were all funny to me as a twenty something. I watched all of them. Their politics still consistently sucked balls.

For as crass and immature as the show is on a surface level, there’s tons of nuance as you get deeper into the meanings you’re meant to gleam from it.
The characters basically never learn or become better as people because they’re not supposed to.
I garuntee if you sat down and actually watched the show, youd realize very quickly these guys only hate pretentious hypocrites, racists, bigots and politicians. But most people miss that because they’ve decided you can’t poke fun at anyone without being part of that group, entirely missing Matt and Treys point for the last 30 years.
Again, watched it as it came out. Watched the arc with family guy where they made that point explicitly. It still is just them trying to pretend that they don’t have a political viewpoint and “poke fun at everyone” when it’s pretty clear that was never the case. In other forms of media it’s called the “view from nowhere”, and it does have a political bent despite them continually trying to say that it does not with the assistance of people such as yourself.
They called climate change “manbearpig” and have since apologized for it. Also, if South Park is deep or nuanced to you, I’m not sure what to tell you, because it isn’t. At all.
