Cmon this is getting ridiculous. How is this any different to being anti-vaxx at this point you are just straight up denying science for… Similar reasons to anti-vaxxers I guess? Keeping in mind anti-vaxx is psychological warfare and you are being crowbarred here for similar reasons.

There was companies that overhyped medical breakthroughs that doesn’t make me hate medical science whats up with you guys? This crap has fallen on DLSS literal ethical AI that uses the GPU you are running a game on… It’s just nonsense anti-intellectualism.

And don’t get me wrong there is plenty of problems with AI, but they have never been addressed here in the same way problems in medical research aren’t addressed in anti-vaxx spaces.

Your argument can be applied onto literally anything. If you dont drink Pepsi your an anti-pepsier and a anti-intellectual because it has so many proven productivity benefits!

No it cannot. The guy I replied to literally referenced a paper they didn’t understand. It’s actually a perfect comparison. Nice try science denier

Current “AI” is actually shitty tho’.

Any frozen weight models are architecturally unable to lean anything new, while dynamic weight models require entire datacenters to run for every instance. The scale of low-effort slop has crippled the internet as a knowledge source, and we are currently poisoning entire towns and the earth at large making up problems to solve.

Look at Nvidia, look at Huggingface. Huggingface literally offers their AI detection right next to their AI obfuscation. Meanwhile Anthropic is constantly hyping bullshit. I just read the “J-Space” article, and holy crap, LLMs use hidden layers to encode and infer relarionships, wow. I thought this was the whole idea behind machine learning, but I guess, saying that won’t secure another billion dollars.

The entire space is full of people without any idea what they are looking at, and with LLMs taking up all the space and money, actually good ideas, like probabalistic proteine folding, are tossed to the side.

The only kinda good thing I see is Markdown making a comeback. And that’s just “good”, because I like Markdown.

        The sky is blue.

        Erh wrong.

The scale of low-effort slop has crippled the internet as a knowledge source, and we are currently poisoning entire towns and the earth at large making up problems to solve.

AI is a force multiplier here yea but these are pre-existing problems target the source if you want a solution flailing your arms around in ignorance gets ya’ll nowhere.

Huggingface literally offers their AI detection right next to their AI obfuscation

Yea they are machine learning subjects Huggingface is a hub.

I just read the “J-Space” article, and holy crap, LLMs use hidden layers to encode and infer relarionships, wow. I thought this was the whole idea behind machine learning, but I guess, saying that won’t secure another billion dollars.

Are you trying to trick these people into thinking you understood what you read? Be careful with that, they will believe you.

The entire space is full of people without any idea what they are looking at, and with LLMs taking up all the space and money, actually good ideas, like probabalistic proteine folding, are tossed to the side.

        Exactly my point, against you.

The only kinda good thing I see is Markdown making a comeback. And that’s just “good”, because I like Markdown.

So you have no integrity when it comes to Markdown being written for you okay.

Why would you replace " with “ ?

You’re actually alluding to another good point here. Humans are naturally equipped with perhaps one of the most complex computers we know; free for life! Yet a bunch group of people are now increasingly unable to use it. Thanks to relying on LLMs, even for the most basic of tasks.

You wouldn’t take medical advice from an anti-vaxxer that wilfully misinterprets research papers.

Just stop… Go learn so you can have discussion with decision makers and researchers then you can effect change. This place is bad for you. These are NPC’s that will reinforce stupidity evidently it is not an AI problem.

The medical research takes up less than 25%, so it is well within the statement of this meme.
