New rules apply only to same-sex marriages signed in other EU member states.

Same-sex marriage remains illegal in Poland, and some local officials have said they will resist the change.

Poland has flip-flopped before, but let us hope it sticks this time. Better abortion rights would be nice to see next.

We will use some leeway to decide whether to remove a comment.
