Yes, but it’s much more in depth than Stremio, is my point. You need to set up a server, and clients, general consensus is to also set up an internal VPN. Stremio is much less overhead, and many people don’t actually care about retaining the content.
They are different beasts, both with benefits, but Stremio is going to be what most laymen are going to be comfortable with.

Imagine recommending Stremio when Jellyfin exists (you can use torrentio with Jellyfin as well).
Stremio is standalone, jellyfin requires a server. I’m also not sure why you would suggest jellyfin just to run torrentio?…
Jellyfin also lets you play your local copies of media, which is way better IMO than relying on someone else to stream from.
