“License plate readers” is a lie to get municipalities to install them. They are AI surveillance cameras designed to track individuals using any information the cameras can pick up. Reading license plates is just an excuse to get them installed. They are installed in many places where there are no cars at all.

Ok. Say we get rid of the “Money and rich pricks.” What are we left with?

Massive amounts of expensive materials mainly containing oil and still acquired through slave labour. To say nothing of how inherently dangerous they are to drive, and the logistical nightmare that is trying to make roads efficient (EDIT: Let alone safe) for them AND pedestrians simultaneously.

And that’s also not mentioning how much cobalt and coltan the modern deathtraps require, which are exclusively products of the apartheid exploitation of Africa.
