Which confirms what fox news and GOP leadership has successfully leveraged for years without remorse: southern conservative voters are highly vulnerable to propaganda, and are unable to change their views based on new information. They just blindingly believe it. This is why religion makes sense to them and why science is confusing and viewed with suspicion. Now where that intellectual stubbornness stems from I don’t know.

No, it comes from chronic undereducation.

Ignorant opinions are borne of ignorance. Ignorance is cured with education and knowledge.

Ignorant masses are much easier to control, which is why education is… not exactly a priority in a lot of places.

The entire right wing is built on ignorance and anti-intellectualism, which is why reality has a perceived left wing bias. Every right wing talking point is built on a lie that most right wing supporters are too ignorant to see through.

        Thus the circle is complete.
