FRANKFURT, Aug 19 (Reuters) - German prosecutors said on Wednesday a second Ukrainian suspect they allege was involved in the 2022 Nord Stream pipeline blasts has been arrested in Croatia and will be extradited to Germany.
The first suspect in the case, former Ukrainian army officer Serhii K., was charged by prosecutors in July with orchestrating the blasts while acting on behalf of Ukrainian state entities.
Mind you, that’s the same man who had already been arrested in Poland and was lucky that the court there ultimately prevented his extradition. And now he got the brilliant idea to travel to another EU-country to give Germany another chance?

I don’t understand why he didn’t go back to Ukraine. The attatche from Ukraine or diplomat or something got him out of Poland, that blamed a clerical error by Germany for not stopping him. He barely got out, and only with the help of allies.
Surely the SBU, Ukranian intelligence, wouldn’t put him back on a mission after he’s compromised like that.
