Went with my spouse to their neurology appointment last week and the person presenting themselves as a doctor started googling for things while still in the room, then showed us the Ai overview he was reading from about one of the conditions we already know my spouse doesn’t have.
We’re seeing a different neurologist next week…
Yes, I am aware how often doctors just google whatever the symptoms are, but I would hope the doctor is a bit more picky about their results. I may still search error codes, but I know what I’m looking for and don’t trust “Ai overviews” for anything.
As long as it’s in the same hospital, we can actually see a different specialist fairly quickly. We only managed to get seen in 2 weeks because of a canceled appointment, otherwise it would be more like 4-8 months. We had to wait 6 months for the first appointment.

I can tell you’re not in the US because it apparently took you less than a year to see a different neurologist.
I wish I wasn’t in the US.

Well, best wishes for your spouse and you.
