As Russian aggression continues and Trump’s US threatens NATO, it is even more vital for a unified defence of the continent.

I’m gonna ask again when the strong German military is firmly in the hands of an AfD government, which will be directly controlled by Putin. That’s gonna be so fun 🎉

Realistically, if AfD is in control and starts doing shenanigans militarily, Germans are gonna politely drag them out of office. I mean, this is a country where only a minority would take up arms to defend their own house, they are not going to attack anyone if they need to be dragged kicking and screaming to defend.

Weidel is supposedly more on the US side. If she manages to pull a Merkel and silence Putin’s men then other bad things can happen.

Weidel is the Röhm of our times. She will be the first victim of the night of the long knives.

History only rhymes. Lucke is dead. Petry is half dead. Weidel is too clever to be the third person making the same mistake.

The AfD won’t get 50% soon in Berlin. Weidel will be head of opposition for years to come. This allows the CDU to do whatever they want because the remaining opposition has less than 25% for a parliamentary inquiry committee.
