Millennials have been able to vote for decades now don’t see it making any difference. And no Gen Z or Alpha is not going to save anything as there are people who well vote right in every age bracket.

Many voters have been disillusioned. Why bother voting, if it’s just the same two brands of getiatric cunts.

What seems to be changing, as far as I can tell, is that they’re developing a sense for the power of primaries and more regional elections to shift the position of the less malignant brand.

The best indicator of success is the reaction of the Dem leadership: They weren’t as concerned about losing to the Reps as they were about this “insurrection” threatening their slow, balanced slide by actually tugging on that rope.

Been hearing this for the past decade now. Still awaiting that tidal wave.

Also, last Presidential election, that age group had significant swing toward MAGA so take from that what you will.

I love that we’re finally getting good progressive candidates and I only hope we’re not one election cycle too late for a free and fair election.

If at all possible, everyone who can should vote early at the election center to make sure whatever fascist plans they have in store will not interfere with your vote, especially in swing states and Dem-leaning districts. Help others vote early by giving rides or otherwise helping them get there.

Don’t depend on mail-in ballots and be concerned about election-day voting at polling places. If you have to wait until the day, go as early as possible. They can’t be everywhere the whole time so their plans will be to pick the places their interference will have the most impact.

Won’t matter if Trump prevents all future elections (like he LITERALLY promised during his last campaign).

Not enough millenials and Gen Z are getting off their asses to vote. There is ZERO good reason boomers + Gen X still comprise the majority voting block.

We just lost the Wisconsin Dem governor primary to an AIPAC allied Dem because of this. Younger people need to get their collective shit together. Its their future that their inaction is fucking up.

Honestly there’s plenty of reason for boomers alone to overwhelm Gen Z and millennials at times. Reminder they make up roughly a quarter of the population still and that’s with leftover silent generation, Gen x, Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen alpha being around. Frankly with that much population disparity it makes sense that they are able to overwhelm in some regions depending on demographic factors.

Then ya throw in Gen x, more specifically generation Jones and ya end up with a bloc that is probably approaching 30-40 percent of the population.

    VOTE DEMOCRAT NO MATTER WHO

VOTE IN PERSON; NOT BY MAIL

FAILURE TO DO SO IS SURRENDER TO FASCISM AND THE END OF DEMOCRACY IN THE USA FOREVER

Vote by mail if it is an option. Those machines are rigged, Trump and Musk both admitted this before the last election. Mail in voting is infinitely harder to fuck with as there is a human, being watched by other humans, doing the count check.

As newthrowaway reminded me, hand drop off your mail in ballot.

To me arguing to vote for the lesser evil party with such slogans sound exactly surrendering to fascism.

Vote for good candidates and good parties and if your vote doesn’t work fight and boycott the fascists. That’s how you resist fascism

You’re not wrong. But one party is actively trying to bring about fascism while the other one is just not resisting it. Why not vote for the lesser party while the DSA party gets momentum?

Here’s an example. In WI, the DSA candidate lost the primary to an establishment dem. Now a dem will run against a republican, there is no DSA option anymore.

Why not at least vote dem to stop the party actively trying to bring about facism?

Absolute delusional and moronic take that got us exactly where we are today.

Why don’t you take a step back, reevaluate your life choices, and rejoin us in reality where neo-liberals aren’t fascists, the fascists are fascists.

If you wanna escape the “lesser of 2 evils” shit, then you and every other young person needs to get off their lazy fucking ass and participate in the Dem primaries. Hong just lost Wisconsin because the younger generation is STILL not showing up in enough numbers to surpass boomers and Gen X.

Until then, stop putting your personal grievances in front of the lives of the millions being massacred by MAGA.

Vote for good candidates and good parties

Only option for that is the Dem primaries.

Like it or not, we exist in a 2 party system. A system that, when it comes to the general election, forces us to choose the lesser of 2 evils. Your grievances with that system doesn’t make that system disappear. Its still there, like it or not, and your inaction and/or wrong actions have dire consequences.

and if your vote doesn’t work fight and boycott the fascists. That’s how you resist fascism

I’ve had enough of these chicken-hawk “leftists” who scream for revolution but sure as fuck would never fight in one.

If your ass is refusing to go to the polls to fight fascism, why the fuck should anyone trust you’d pick up a rifle and fight a revolution?

The red and blue party are cycling in power, if there’s anything that got us here is not doing enough to challenge this system.

Why don’t you take a step back, reevaluate your life choices, and rejoin us in reality where neo-liberals aren’t fascists, the fascists are fascists.

Supporting a genocide perpetrated by a racist far-right government it among other things such as spending a trillion in war and spying people with the most dystopian mass surveillance network humanity has ever seen to me scream fascism. If it’s not fascism it’s as much as bad and something we should oppose unless we seek to destroy the world.

If you want criminal scum to stop from being elected, encouraging people to vote for them and for their party it’s not how you bring up a change. Younger generations are being brainwashed by the government as much as boomers and every other person.

Until then, stop putting your personal grievances in front of the lives of the millions being massacred by MAGA.

The US government, red and blue administrations cycling in power, has massacred people around the world for decades.

Maybe not smart but definitely threaded a needle of a number of societal devolutions. I’m hopeful that progressive mindsets toward helping the majority as opposed to the minority become the norm.
