German police is more concerned protecting Israeli interests than those of German citizens.
Btw, these groups were doing self defence against fascist groups. That is in some sense violent because the Nazis they’re combating are blindly violent to anyone they feel they can oppress. The choice is simple: tolerate surgical interventions against Nazis, or let these local Nazi groups run you over and then some.
