Democrats across the party's ideological spectrum—in Michigan and around the country—rallied behind US Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed after his erstwhile primary opponent, Rep. Haley Stevens, endorsed Republican Mike Rogers.
That is also out of the context of discussing what the Democrats should have done about this betrayal. I don’t disagree with you, but it is completely out of scope.
Ideally, figuring this out and taking this action before the primary would have been good.
A lot of people had to spend a lot of money and effort to get Abdul over her insane AIPAC ad spend.
Sure, that would have been ideal, but I don’t think it was practical unless you’re suggesting people knew this was coming and did nothing to prevent it.
I voted against her for her in the primary because I could tell she was functionally more Zionist-aligned than Democrat-aligned. I feel like it wasn’t that hard to see, given the tens of millions of AIPAC funding.
They need to kick these people out of the party. The many hidden, and also not so hidden, MAGA democrats.
Even if you are going to be the centrist corporate party with no teeth, at the very least you shouldn’t be tolerating this party treason.
But I guess that’s just what they do, and regular treason is also a normal thing now. So 🤷
She was kicked out of the Michigan Democratic party.
Oh good. Well at least people are doing the bare minimum.
What would you have them do, specifically. that they have not already done?
Not accepted AIPAC money in the first place.

The current context was someone saying about this being the least they could do.
