Democrats across the party's ideological spectrum—in Michigan and around the country—rallied behind US Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed after his erstwhile primary opponent, Rep. Haley Stevens, endorsed Republican Mike Rogers.
Regardless of her political leanings, I could tell Haley Steven was a shit bag from the moment I heard her shrill voice. I’m from St. Clair Shores, MI. I now live in the town that she is from. No one, and I mean not one single solitary soul, speaks ANYTHING like she does in this area. Her accent is so fake and it screams, “Give me attention!”.
No one has that accent in this area. It’s completely hit and miss on different words. It’s completely fake and she’s full of shit.
I used to work at the military base in Mt. Clemens, so I can completely vouch for this. Her fake accent was the first thing I noticed about her. I feel like Whitmer popularized the fake Michigan accent and then Stevens absolutely butchered it. It seems like a majority of St. Clair would hate her because there are a lot of Republicans, and the rest hate her for being a fake ass bitch. I don’t even understand how she made it this far in politics.
