Democrats across the party’s ideological spectrum—in Michigan and around the country—rallied behind US Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed after his erstwhile primary opponent, Rep. Haley Stevens, endorsed Republican Mike Rogers two days before a race that could decide control of the upper chamber.

While Stevens claimed in a CNN appearance Sunday night that she’s “been hearing from a ton of Dems” privately voicing support for her decision, she received nothing but backlash from fellow Democrats in public. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer(D-NY), who quietly supportedStevens in her primary contest against El-Sayed, said that “this is a despicable betrayal from Rep. Stevens.”

It’s crazy politicians on either side of the aisle thinks Israel cares about them…

AIPAC 100% told her to do this and that it would be a good idea and soooo many people really agree with her.

It’s not just that they’re buying our politicians, they handle them like a spy agency would handle an asset.

Stevens is about to be out of office and worthless to them, so they got her into a kamikaze plane before she asked why the cockpit had a padlock and only enough fuel for a one way trip

They don’t give a fuck about her, just like any other politician they pay and manipulate.

Would be bad business to completely abandon her, would give a bad signal to other politicians on the payroll. She’s got a nice comfortable career as an AIPAC lobbyist after this, most likely.
