Buffer zone shouldn’t be in the hottest climates, too hot for procreation
In Asia and Mexico its a highly populous band, agree that in Africa it’s the least. Warm climate and cold climate is just personal preference. No one wants scorching 50C. But 30C is not so bad if you know how to deal with it.
