The average American Trump supporter is a gun toting, neoliberal, bear shooting, death penalty supporting, misogynist, who believe that LGBT people should be stoned to death Old Testament style, a white supremacist, anti-vaccine, climate change denying, anti-evolution, anti- science, flat earth believing, pro-life, anti- intellectual, sanctimonious evangelical Christian, Islamophobic bigot. Chem trail obsessive, xenophobic and a racist. Also ignorant, stupid, perverted and possibly demented.
Your accurate yet unavoidably incomplete list made me reflect on how much the term “pro-life” is inaccurate while also being propaganda spin bullshit. It is literally the term for a policy of the death cult wing of american politics. I know I’m preaching to the choir here, but god damn.
I am a nature lover and animal lover. I come from a conservative redneck-ish family and one very strong correlation throughout my life has been that the more conservative somebody is, the more likely they are to openly brag about how much they would NOT spend money to help their own pets. Or even about how they would shoot them (usually a dog) if they ever did X.
But that is part of a much larger package deal where those people define themselves by the things they hate and activities they avoid.
Why do you think Kristi Noem told that anecdote about murdering a dog and a goat?
To appeal to exactly the sort of “manly” shitheads you are talking about.
Even by her own telling, she’s a total asshole. She killed a goat in a blind rage as part of murdering her dog, and then, instead of being the least bit ashamed, she decided to write that down. As if that’s just normal.
I would say the average American Trump voter is choose-4-to-10 of those things, but not all at once. (Source: I live in Appalachia.)
Though my I-thought-you-were-mostly-reasonable neighbor seems to be BECOMING a flat earther. He’s already got at least 4 from your list… It’s weird and concerning to watch the delusions accumulate in real time.

Those pets should pull themselves up by their bootstraps.
I like to say “anti-choice”. Because more often than not, they don’t call people like me “pro-choice” they say “pro-abortion” which is weird…
I like to say forced-birthers.
That’s just the average American lol

Which means half of them are worse than that
and also apparently very proud of it
