I don’t think Piker can win the case, since it was played by Republicans long before Scott Jennings got a hold of it, so it was their editing and implication, not Jennings.
The edit was disingenuous in my opinion, Hasan has said enough crappy things to make the point without manipulating footage to do so. I think the Republicans should be responsible in this case (if there were edits), and I loathe Hasan Piker so it’s not like I’m in his camp.
However, it’s not worth tens of millions of dollars, that’s off the wall.
