Hasan is a political commentator who reads and responds to the news outloud. And they do it in a way which most people under the age of 40 would do it, in a mocking, casual sometimes cynical view. And people can relate to that; they aren’t just reenforcing establishment views.

The canddiates they endorsed and supported, they made it through their primaries, and after making it through the primaries, they are winning their elections. They are more ideologically similar to Hasan and most of the people here, than you or other centrist/ rightwing politics. But more importantly, they picked winners, and supported them early when early support makes the difference. That makes them a king maker.
