in the podcast they mentioned an app that scans for them and my partner asked me to find the app. I guess it may interest some people here ☞

The app, called Nearby Glasses, has one sole purpose: Look for smart glasses nearby and warn you.
It uses company identificators in the Bluetooth data sent out by these.



I think the point is to get a notification when you’re getting into the range of some of those glasses
“the point” always depends on how you live and what you need. I will use the app in situations where/when i need to check for smartGlasses.
99.99999999% of my life won’t need that verification.
if you’re living and working in situations where what you said in private may ruin your public life, you may always keep it on. (which would bring up other privacy concerns related to Bluetooth)
