Usps got fucked by Republicans requirements to fully fund pensions at once then an actual person (who Biden did nothing about) from shipping companies appointed to fuck it over.
Amtrak is both under funded and screwed by this countries refusal to do anything good with rail. On just about every line they are the lowest priority because the country won’t build new lines as they have to run on rails owned by freight companies
I just love their examples of us government being bad with money are the exact examples of how corporations screwed up things not anything with the government and money while saying the corporations are the ones to trust

I listed both as examples of the US government doing a good job handling money, they both work surprisingly well for how little they need.
The purpose of a system is what it does. The US government doesn’t serve us. It serves the wealthy, and it does it fairly competently.
