Ugh I feel ya. Been applying for new Programming jobs and they all ask for some kind of interest in AI. I’ve just accepted that it’s something I’m gonna be lying about from now on. Got an interview on monday where the game plan is to insist that I can’t go in depth about my AI experience because I found a crazy new way to make it much more accurate and predictable (it’s called programming by hand)
At this point I just hope it’s buzzwords in the job listing rather than a must for the job. I still have a 12 weeks notice period, so can afford to be picky at the moment. If time runs out, I’ll just have to accept it. Besides, I can still opt to just don’t use it once I land a job. Who says I am obliged to do it?
