Michigan’s Democratic Senate nominee said he’s concerned that Donald Trump and GOP Senate candidate Mike Rogers “are not committed to the institution of our democracy.”
Michigan’s Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed said his fellow Democrats need to “win by massive numbers” in the upcoming midterm elections so the result “is unquestionable.”
“Donald Trump has already threatened to do what he did in 2020, which is deny the outcomes of an election,” El-Sayed told NBC News’ “Meet the Press” in an interview that aired Sunday.
Asked by NBC News on Saturday whether he would accept the results of the midterm elections no matter who wins, Trump said, “Of course I will. But we don’t want cheating.”
Big numbers won’t matter. If anything, they’ll just say the big numbers are proof of cheating.
They’re going to cry foul no matter what. And they’re not allowing in external election observers so they can say whatever they want.
Everyone should be voting anyways, but I agree there will be outright attempts to interfere in the outcome but unless the outcome is a GOP landslide they say it’s illegitimate. Our response is going to be the bellwether of where the future goes
They won’t succeed much now though. Yet.
It actually doesn’t matter. Win by a little, and they’ll claim there was just enough fake votes. Win by a lot, and they’ll claim it was fake because you can’t win by that much.
Don’t obey in advance.

It actually does matter. For the love of god everyone go vote.
They will of course deny it no matter what. Hell even if they win they will still accuse dems of trying to cheat but being bad it it, etc.
The point is that winning legitimately by a lot still makes it a harder case to make in court, and a harder sell to the electorate. They can toss out some imperfect ballots, etc., to try to bump the numbers the other way – but they wouldn’t be able to easily do this at a large scale and across multiple states that reinforce a victory… Yet.
No matter if they lose by a landslide or just one vote the GOP will still cry foul. But let’s make it a landslide…
But if it’s one vote, my neighbor might believe it was rigged. If it’s a landslide in many states including red ones, my neighbor might have a harder time believing a coordinated effort happened across so many states and no one stopped it, not even Superman Trump
And to actually impeach the fuckers
It’s crazy that the election denial was about the 2020 result since the Trump admin was in charge at the federal level and the GOP in charge in most of the Governors offices in many battleground states. They never complain when they win and always want to ignore that they are the ones running the elections they lose. Sometimes they throw out hanging chads too.
They barely win: Obviously they carefully crafted their rigging to barely win
Landslide: it’s all the more suspicious that they will by a landslide.
There is no winning on that front.
I like this guy.
I think the democrats might want to look a little closer at this guy before everyone else jumps on his bandwagon.
