Let’s test it out. If you are genuinely interested in an answer to “where did the idea of a 3-day special military operation come from?”, here are some facts and sources. I suspect you put those qualifiers in there so you can dismiss them but let’s find out.
Fine, Russia themselves didn’t say 3 days it was a intelligence report. Your point is made.
However, Russia’s Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu was quoted as saying it would last “until 2025”, and that wasn’t until about 18 months into the invasion. It’s well past that. The point that they haven’t completed their invasion even in their own quoted timeline still stands.
Why this specifically? Oh, right, because the narrative actually was widely peddled by Russian propaganda and its closest ally Belarus/Lukashenko: https://x.com/nexta_tv/status/1498185064617762816 (“3-4 days at most”)
So you have to raise the standards in order to save Russian propaganda from its own arrogance and delusions. Nice try, but no.
Source on a high up in the Russian military saying it would be 3 days?
You want a source for something I haven’t stated? 😅
His buddy Lukashenko was convinced that it takes only 3-4 days. That’s what I’m quoting. https://x.com/nexta_tv/status/1498185064617762816

“That is not the question,” Putin reportedly said. “But if I wanted to, I could take Kiev in two weeks.”
Not three days, but two weeks have also long passed, no?

If you think asking for a source is confrontational I don’t think you’re going to enjoy your time here on the internet, lol.

Sadly, a whole bunch of people who’ve eaten up Russian propaganda do give a fuck.

I guess Belarus indeed is to the west of Russia…
