The polling numbers for Trump and the GOP have been brutal as his second term has progressed, with Americans’ views on his handling of the economy — a topic on which he had previously outpolled Democrats — taking a dive. The president’s war in Iran has been another issue dragging down his polling, specifically because of its impact on gas prices.

The tough polling has contributed to election prognosticators releasing increasingly optimistic forecasts for Democrats in the midterm elections. Back in August, Cook Political Report said there were “multiple paths” for Democrats to take back the majority in the Senate, and their analysis has repeatedly moved congressional and gubernatorial races to the left as November has loomed ever closer.

The problem is a solid 1/3rd of the country have shown that they don’t think, they just blindly adhere to their preferred ideology. They are the sheep they accuse the left of being, and will do whatever their masters demand of them.
