Even farmers who were already promised funds from the REAP program may never get them under the Trump admin’s new restrictions. Some are suing.
I’ll note that rural utilities have been quite subsidized since the New Deal; the idea was that making electricity and phone service universal would benefit the country as a whole and bring everybody on board with the idea of government doing things for people.
Well, as long as the brown people are disappeared, the black people and the women are put in their place, gays shoved in the closet, and trans erased, it will all be worth it I guess? We’ll show those big city libs what’s what!
