Generally looking very positive for him at the moment. Way more popular than the outgoing PM. Has since said lots of things other politicians would avoid: Nationalising infrastructure, Fixing Social Care, Rejoining the EU, reforming the electoral system. It’s early days, probably not possible for him to do everything he talks about. Generally a solid social democratic outlook.

Neither am I, but even mentioning rejoining the EU when far right is stronger than ever is pretty bold I’d say, there’s a reason PMs before him have avoided saying it.

He had a bunch of good policies, got into office and instantly fired pro palestine people, went back on his policies, basically summed up he was like “oh this is harder than i thought it would be”. Unlike mamdani for example who promised and delivered on what he could(of course there are things that are harder to achieve and things that aee easier), burnham basically just gave up on doing anything like every other fucking politician. He isnt especially bad, hes kinda meh, but why i had such a bad reaction to him is that i expected him to be an actually good change like mamdani.
