You mean like he already did with part of the White House? I’m sure this will work. This is more of the “if we pass a law, maybe the criminals will stop doing it”. Not without actual consequences when they do.
A lot of what the establishment Democrats do is offer legitimacy to the institutions and process that allow Fascism to maintain its power.
It’s not that “voting to condemn” is a bad action in itself. It’s that the Democratic party is only defending the “process” of democracy. They are continuing to play the game by the rules, condemn the cheating, but do nothing to stop the cheater. After awhile, it results in the public perception of “the process” as still functioning when in reality it is not.
And, on the rare occasion that the Republican party “plays by the rules” the Democrats are the first to point to “reasonable Republicans”
