The republicans refused to convict, twice. Democrats tried twice and it didn’t work. They will do it again and the senate will still not convict.
I’m really confused by the reasoning here and why people act like I’m saying something wrong. It’s almost like the democrats have to be punished extra because of the republicans being unwilling to hold trump to account.

But the whole campaign strategy is to court MAGAs and conservatives while pissing on the progressive left. This means that they won’t do anything. They are also all AIPAC so, they won’t do it because of that either.
They could hold up procedures and other government functions in protest, (like tooberville did with military promotions), they don’t ever do anything.
